Emily is a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) & Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Her focus is on medication management for psychiatric disorders in the adult population. She first found her passion for working with psychiatric patients while practicing internal medicine in inpatient psychiatric facilities as an FNP. There she found an ease in her ability to connect with patients and finds great satisfaction in the ability to serve this population. Her training and experience practicing as both an FNP and PMHNP has provided her the ability to view clients holistically, not solely by psychiatric diagnoses.

Prior to graduate school she spent 9 years working as an RN at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. There she had the privilege of caring for children and their families in the Pediatric Intensive-Care Unit & Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.

Emily enjoys serving the general psychiatric population with experience treating anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, sleep disorders, personality disorders, etc. She feels specifically passionate about maintaining treatment in the outpatient setting whenever possible, with the goal of avoiding the need for inpatient hospitalizations.

She is currently accepting new adult patients in Ohio with availability for virtual and in-person appointments at the Westerville location. She accepts some insurance as well as self-pay.
