Sarah earned her first bachelor's degree at age 20 from the nationally ranked E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She spent nearly a decade working as a newspaper reporter. There she honed her ability to talk to anyone about anything. After about a decade the award winning writer went and earned an accelerated bachelor's degree in 20 months from Capital University. She studied nursing. She spent most of her bedside nursing career working in surgical and trauma ICUs and other critical care units in Central Ohio. She also spent a year working in hospice, and she worked several years at the Columbus VA. She trained in dual-diagnosis at the VA while completing her nurse practitioner master's degree at Walsh University. She is ANCC board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health as a Nurse Practitioner.

Sarah has a thoughtful approach based in warmth, genuineness, honesty and humor. Her years of experience interviewing makes for easy conversation. At almost every session, she provides brief, supportive interventions that help address problems quickly and practically whenever possible.

She is licensed in several states (OH, PA, WA, MA). This allows convenient care for college students or those traveling for work.

Sarah believes in patient choice, and she feels it is important that patients understand their custom treatment plan. She spends time answering questions and provides education about diagnoses and options for care. Patients have praised her for her patience and have reported that she goes above and beyond to help them.

Sarah is currently accepting new patients. Sessions are available conveniently online or in-person at the Dublin, Ohio or Dallas, Pennsylvania office. She accepts some insurances and cash/self-pay patients.
